Caught in the middle

One littel goal I have for 2011 is to read more. I love getting lost in a good book, I love how I really forget my world, and get transported to a new one, and for the time I am emerged in the pages, my worries and my fears disapparate and it's bliss. I am pretty guilty for not reading much. These past few days I have taken the opportunity to read when I can, and I think it's safe to say, I had forgotten what it's like to get lost in a good book. I've started reading on my little commute on the ferry to university, and then before bed (which makes my bed times a little later but thats okay, right?) I want to read atleast 50 books this year. I'm not really sure what ballpark this number is in, is it pretty average? Too low, too high? I don't know really, but I think it's a good solid number. In this magic 50, I really want to read some classics. Here's my little book list for that so far: (these are the ones found on my Mum's shelf)

Not many yet, but I cant wait to get my head in some of these classics, and not because I have to, say for school or college, but because I want to. Are there any classics you think I should read?
Love, Katie xoxo
