I thought I'd join the mass forces and blog some photos of the snow! I know it makes travelling difficult and when it turns to ice it's a right pain but it makes everything so pretty! We're done with the snow in the South now (I think) so that's probably our quota for the year and everything's back to normal.
I've been spending the week so far watching far too much Grey's Anatomy and trying to kick my sugar cravings. I started watching Grey's in my second year of uni but stopped around season 3 because it was seriously distracting! Anyway, now I've got some time on my hands I thought I'd start from the beginning and I have plenty to catch up on.
I've been trying to start my mission on healthy eating this week, and so desperately trying to avoid the yummy easter things I see in the shops, i.e. those pesky malteasters and creme eggs! I'll be honest, a few did find their way into my basket but I don't think I could cut out chocolate completely. I just need to limit myself to perhaps one treat a day, and that's what they should be; a treat. I've replaced my snacks with healthy alternatives, but more on that another day...
As well as trying to kick my snacking habit, I've also been trying to cut back on my spending. I am such a nester, I'm always drawn to home stuff and pretty little things for the flat which aren't always needed but are oh so pretty! That includes these pastel cake tins from Collectables. I've always wanted some of these vintage looking scales too, I know Lyzi uses some ace looking ones to bake with that she found at a market. I just wish I had a bigger kitchen with a view on to a lovely garden and then everything would be perfect!
Anyway, I hope you're all having a good week! I've got some washing to do and a flat to clean (as always) but I'll be back soon xo
