Izabel London

Goodness me, it's been a while since I posted photos of myself on blog! The last outfit post I did was way back in July last year, so it's safe to say I'm a bit rusty when it comes to this! I haven't really thought about doing an outfit post since then really, I sort of lost inspiration with my clothes and didn't really think they were anything to share! Plus I'd never even thought to take some photos with my remote for my camera like the good ol' days before Gray became my personal photographer! ;) Anyway, I really wanted to show you my new dress from Izabel London. Aaaages ago, I won a competition on VIPXO's blog to win a dress but that was last October and it never came. I chased it up a few weeks ago and this little beauty arrived!

I'm really pleased with it, I've discovered high necklines suit me and I love high waisted skirts. I showed these pictures to Gray though, and he said it was too high and I looked like Simon Cowell! Men eh! Whatever he says, I think this dress is lovely, I like the pattern and the cream with the black. I paired this with some tights (because the world is not ready for my pasty white legs), some old black strappy shoes and a matalan glitter clutch. The dress is pretty heavy and nice quality, but I cannot do it up by myself! (Here's a little secret - The dress wasn't done up at the back! ;)) The zip isn't the best quality and it's a shame I can't do it by myself, but overrall I really like the style of this dress and I think it will be lovely for a posh do! It does have a gorgeous deep V-neck down the back too.

Hope you're having a nice week, what do you think of the dress? Not Cowell-esque really, is it? xo

  5. Lovely dress and I like how it looks on you :) It can be nice for a summer night dinner with nice ballet flats or better yet strappy sandals.
