How soon is now

I got home from work the other day with the sun shining through the bedroom windows and so I thought I'd share one of my work outfits with you all.

This one was a bit out of my comfort zone - I'm not used to wearing body con dresses as I always feel conscientous of my stomach! I'm always wearing skinny jeans and tight tops but I just don't feel as comfortable in dresses so this one was a bit different for me. As I can't wear jeans at work anyway, I've mostly been wearing dresses and tights, little skater skirts and some days I wear smart trousers and little button up shirts. I'm quite enjoying putting together each outfit and it's definitely meant I've got a lot more wear out of my wardrobe which is good!

These shoes were a bargain that I picked up in Sainsburys the other day. They fit so nicely and are the perfect height for me - not too short but not so high I can't walk in them! I favoured flats for the office but I think these would be so nice on a night out! They were only £14 and are super comfy too. These tights have been getting me through the colder days (although thankfully it's finally brightening up here in the South!), I picked them up in Primark last month. They're not woolen so they look really smooth and silky, but they have built in socks in them! The sock part is made of woolen fabric and keeps my feet super cosy - but I love the way the main leg part looks like you're wearing leggings. I generally get freezing tootsies so these are perfect as it means I don't have to layer on socks because they're already there!

I hope you're all enjoying the bank holiday weekend! I had to work today but I've booked Tuesday off, so my weekend starts now! I'm so looking forward to it -  I have some plans that involve a sewing machine and some lovely new fabric! What are your plans? xo
