I love that the inside uses a bold pattern from a fabric collection, I love that it reads like one of my favourite blogs and I love how inspired I feel when I flick through the pages and see gorgeous imagery. Being a graphic designer means I'm probably a little too critical when it comes to design I see in the media around me. I design for print and I always find myself studying the spacing of the letters and checking the alignment of things to a grid when I see an advert or a flyer. I appreciate good design and as soon as I stumbled upon this magazine, I knew it had it. It supports the content beautifully - the simple colours of the titles and the addition of graphic elements make me feel inspired - not only to read each article but to head back to my computer and start creating. The writing makes me stop and think and often stirs up thoughts and ideas I usually only get from reading a really good book - the ones where you think about the words a long time after you've closed the pages.
The pages are full of interviews, house tours, book reviews, recipes, decor tips and general articles about the good things in life. As you can tell I'm full of praise for this magazine and urge you all to treat yourself if you fancy feeling inspired.
