To be honest, I've never been a huge advocate for halloween. It's all in good fun, of course, but I never 'celebrated' it as a child and so I've never got the hype, I guess. I certainly wouldn't fit in in America!
The one thing that I do love about it though, is the creativity. I love DIYs, so I love it when an event comes around and people really get their craft on. Pinterest, youtube and twitter is filled with really awesome links and tutorials and it really does inspire me to actually get off the internet and create.
Here are some crafty halloween links I've been loving:
The above Skeleton DIY video from Boohoo - such a simple idea thats really effective if you're needing a last minute costume for tomorrow night!
And, to pair with your outfit from above - this makeup video from Katie Snooks. I don't know how Rosie from The Londoner made it look so sexy and scary, but she did.
This super easy craft simply using masking tape!
And finally, perhaps not so easily linked to halloween but something with scope - this tutorial for polka dot tights. Maybe you could go to your swish party as the night sky and draw some constellations on your knee (I'm making this up here... but hey, they're really pretty!)
Anyway, I hope you all have a good halloween. I'll be hiding in the kitchen eating all the sweets... xo
