BornPretty watch review

I haven't worn a wrist watch for a very long time. I'm pretty sure the last watch I owned was bright pink, with a super thick strap and charms hanging from the sides! I think that sums up the age I was, but nowadays I often see watches as a timeless (pun not intended!) accessory.

I think that now we are so inundated with technology, watches have taken a back seat as something you actually use to tell the time; being replaced with phones and computers. And so, they've become a fashion statement and the design is more important than ever.

The blog world and the internet in general is full of lovely inspiration when it comes to watches, but so very often out of the low price range and venturing into the rather ridiculous. There are the watches that are on every high end bloggers wrist (and I am thinking of the infamous Michael Kors here) or the slightly more reasonable Daniel Wellington watches that did the rounds many months ago.

My style is more simplistic and so the gorgeous women's watch I received from Born Pretty Store represents me perfectly. It's feminine but not too delicate - I don't understand the jewellery and accessories we are too scared to wear because they might break, and the same goes for items with a major price tag that we are too worried we might lose. Thats the other great thing about my watch. I honestly feel like it looks expensive and way more than the money you can get it for - just over $10 - which works out a little over £6!
There's a huge selection to choose from including LED watch and bracelet watch styles so I'm pretty certain there's something for everyone. They'd make great stocking fillers and if you fancy an even lower price, then here's a code that will get you another 10% off! Just use KATIEMC10.

Shipping took a few weeks, but extremely respectable considering it came all the way from Singapore. It was packaged in the cutest display box and on a black suede cushion I can't fault it. It just makes me feel smarter and more 'grown-up' having this beauty on my wrist. xo
