Introducing Loki

Back in December (doesn’t it feel like absolutely yonks ago?!) we had a new addition to the family. Graham and I moved in to our house at the beginning of October and Graham decided it was time to get a cat. It was more of a surprise for me – I returned home from work one evening and he said ‘Don’t take your shoes off – we’re going to meet someone’. And that was that really! We visited the little guy and he was so friendly and approached me without a care in the world. His name is Loki and he is a little over 2 and half. We found him on Reddit actually – he couldn’t live in the home he was brought up in anymore and we were more than happy to help out. I’ve never lived with cats but Graham grew up with them and although I was a little apprehensive at first, now I can’t imagine our home without him. He is so lovable and cheeky – named rightly so after the norse God of mischief. He has a penchant for hair bands, is constantly after more food and loves a good scratch under his chin. He sleeps on our bed every night guarding the doors, and loves to sit behind the curtains and watch the birds.

I am officially a converted, crazy, cat-lady.

Loki is a short-haired moggie, extremely talkative and ALWAYS hungry

  1. Oh, Loki is beautiful! I love black cats. We had one called Puck when I was in high school - he was such a darling. And extra lovely that you could rescue him. :)

  2. Loki is so adorable! We recently adopted a cat in December too. At first she didn't get on with my other cat but now they play together and then nap together and it's so cute. I've been a crazy cat lady since I was about 5 and I'm okay with it now hahaha.
